They are seeking a Software Engineer to join their Globalization Engineering team, where the primary focus will be on creating global-ready products and ensuring user satisfaction across different cultures.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a small development team to invent tools and processes used by other engineers within Docusign
- Implement services and user interfaces independently that can be deployed across several complex projects
- Build solutions for consistent internationalization of user interfaces and APIs
- Write services that support localization operations for various stacks
- Identify risks to translations due to engineering shortcuts and language asymmetry
Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Graduation date between June 2024 and December 2025
- Exposure to core computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Experience building projects (academic, personal, or internship) using Typescript (other object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, Scala, or Python are also acceptable)
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with modern development tools, including Git for version control and an understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated testing
- Fluency in a second language in addition to professional English proficiency (especially Japanese)
