About the Role
As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will be part of a global team focused on customer value creation with finance & risk solutions in strategic customer opportunities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help shape client value propositions, lead strategic initiatives, and support delivery across complex transformation programs. Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic workstreams in finance transformation programs for banking clients, leveraging your expertise in finance and risk to drive business outcomes
- Translate complex business challenges into innovative solutions and actionable roadmaps, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results
- Collaborate with product, delivery, and architecture teams to develop and implement strategic solutions, ensuring seamless integration and maximum impact
- Support client engagements from early shaping to execution, including C-level interactions, and provide thought leadership on bank steering, KPIs, financial performance, and risk management
- Contribute to internal capability building and team development, sharing your expertise and experience to help grow and develop our team
- Help define and evolve our finance & risk transformation offering, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions that meet their goals and objectives
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2–3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, ideally with a strong analytical foundation and a proven track record of delivering results
- Proven experience in banking, with a solid understanding of industry dynamics and banking business models, as well as a strong tech affinity and comfort working with digital tools, data models, and transformation platforms
- Experience across both strategic change initiatives and operational finance & risk environments (e.g., controlling, data & analytics, reporting, planning), with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices
- Familiarity with transformation programs, including process/operating model design and system implementation, as well as experience with finance software, especially from SAP and other leading providers
- Fluent in English, with German being a plus, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels
