The Role

We’re looking for a a Senior QA Engineer that will help building the manual QA infrastructure, who will working side by side with the QA TL to determine the technology and strategy.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Ensure that products meet quality standards and other reliability standards

Work collaboratively and proactively with the product, design, and development teams to create effective testing solutions, troubleshoot issues, and get bugs resolved

Create tests that provide the team with quick and reliable feedback, including the implementation of automated tests using commercially available and internal tools as part of a fast-paced team

Collaborate cross-department to accomplish quality and company objectives

Work effectively in a fast-paced environment where overtime hours are expected to meet deadlines

Hands-on ability to write automation and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure

Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems, implementing test harnesses and infrastructure as necessary

Review and investigate incoming bugs from the field to determine relevant route for resolution

Assist customer facing personnel in regards to known issues and their workarounds

Your Experience and Qualifications

4+ Years of professional experience with manual software testing

Experience with Virtualization and end-user computing technologies (VMware, Citrix)

Experience with IT systems (Domains, structure, permissions, etc) and computer networking principles

Experience with API testing (Postman)

Experience with SaaS deployments in AWS/Azure - an advantage

Experience with Azure - an advantage

Experience with SQL DB and RT systems – an advantage

Experience with automation testing tools and scripting language - an advantage

Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Kubernetes – an advantage

Familiarity with Splunk –an advantage

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across the organization and with customers/customer facing teams

Ability to work proactively and effectively in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment, provide process improvement recommendations and increase operational efficiencies by using technology and innovation
