Key Responsibilities
- Lead production support activities for a group of data analysis products used to support internal bank operations.
- Act as a key participant in the identification and triage of production incidents affecting our client information analysis platform.
- Analyze complex technical challenges within a big data environment, requiring in-depth examination and resolution.
- Lead research and create reports related to ongoing production challenges, presenting findings to internal stakeholders.
- Lead the development of new processes and platform enhancements to improve our production support capabilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the inland team, ensuring communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team.
- Champion continuous improvement, including developing new strategies and identifying new opportunities.
- Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team and ensure activities meet or exceed performance metrics.
- Direct the daily Risk and Control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure a positive outcome.
- Lead teams to meet timelines and drive new initiatives, while reviewing, approving, and executing prescribed changes to plans.
- Collaborate and communicate with employees to resolve initiatives and achieve technology mandates.
- Act as a mentor to peers, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team success.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- 2+ years of investigation experience, or comparable experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
To stand out as a strong candidate, you will ideally have:
- 2+ years of experience supporting large data environments, with a deep understanding of big data ecosystems.
- 2+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse, and data analysis capabilities on large data architectures, such as Hadoop.
- 2+ years of experience using a combination of tools, including HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB, with a strong understanding of their applications and limitations.
