This role

We’re looking for a super talented Senior Designer to join our in-house agency, Hero Collective to support our global markets (UK, APAC, CA). You’ve got solid experience under your belt and a sharp design eye, especially across digital, brand, and motion.

Reporting to our Design Lead, you’ll be joining a fast moving, remote first team with motion designers, copywriters, illustrators, and art directors. Together, we’re making scroll stopping content, elevating the brand, and having a bit of fun along the way. We’re big on experimenting with new tools too, especially when it comes to tech and AI. If you love crafting beautiful, thoughtful design that actually works, and you’re ready to level up with a team that’s doing cool stuff, this might be your thing.

What you’ll be doing

• Make work that looks good and performs - You’ll design across the board, from paid ads and emails to social content, integrated campaigns, landing pages, and the occasional print piece. Your work won’t just look great, it’ll feel on brand, scroll stopping, and built to perform. No cookie cutter templates here, just sharp, thoughtful design that actually delivers.
• Push creative boundaries with AI - You don’t just use AI to move faster. You use it to unlock new ideas, workflows, and creative outcomes. Whether you're storyboarding motion pieces, generating visual directions, editing short form video, or testing layouts with AI tools, you treat technology as a creative amplifier.
• Think in motion - You’ve got a motion mindset. You don’t need to animate everything yourself (though bonus points if you do), but you understand how things move, feel, and flow. You can storyboard, collaborate with motion designers, and help bring concepts to life in ways that stop the scroll.
• Collaborate like a pro, remotely - You’re a strong communicator who thrives in async and remote-first environments. You know how to keep projects moving, stay aligned, and show up for your team even across time zones. You ask smart questions, give clear updates, and take feedback without ego. You’re reliable, accountable, and focused on making the work better together.
• Push the brand, don’t just follow it - You know when to follow the rules and when to bend them. You’ll help evolve our brand toolkit, suggest fresh takes, and bring a designer’s eye to how we show up in the world, visually, digitally, and socially.

Who you are

• 5+ years as a senior designer (agency or in house, ideally both)
• You’ve got great taste. You know what good looks like, trust your eye, and bring thoughtful, intentional design decisions to every brief
• A strong folio with smart, tasteful work, digital first, brand led, and results focused
• Proven experience across the whole marketing ecosystem and integrated campaigns: OOH, paid + organic social, email, web, motion/video, print, digital
• Deep knowledge of design principles: typography, layout, colour, accessibility
• Fresh ideas that push our brand in new territories conceptually and with technology
• Strong storyboarding and visual storytelling capabilities
• Real world AI experience: prompting, iterating, innovating, and integrating tools into your workflow
• Figma and Adobe Creative Suite wizardry
• Familiarity with tools like After Effects, Premier Pro or video editing software. Must feel comfortable collaborating on motion projects and speaking the language of editors and animators
• Comfortable with Slack, Asana, Hubspot, Canva, Google Slides
• Understanding of UX/UI, wireframes and digital flows
