Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Develop and deploy complex data science models and algorithms using techniques such as machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics to drive business insights and recommendations.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and TensorFlow to build and deploy models, as well as leverage cloud computing platforms like Azure/Databricks and Snowflake.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, research, software development, and business leaders to define product requirements and provide analytical support.
- Insight Generation: Apply analytical rigor and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and extract insights to inform business decisions.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, and contribute to the development of data science best practices within the organization.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) and a minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field. Alternatively, a High School/GED with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL, as well as experience with cloud computing platforms and machine learning frameworks.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong background in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical modeling, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to develop and deploy machine learning models, predictive analytics, and optimization algorithms.
- Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, with direct or indirect management of cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) or a related field.
- Domain Expertise: Experience working in the healthcare industry or with IoT and Edge AI applications.
- Reinforcement Learning: Experience with reinforcement learning techniques and applications.
