As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and optimizing data infrastructure to support analytics and machine learning initiatives. You will design scalable data pipelines, develop ETL workflows, and ensure the efficient integration of data across various platforms using industry-standard technologies and tools. Your work will enable cross-functional teams to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ELT processes to support analytics and business intelligence needs across portfolio companies
• Architect and implement data warehousing solutions using modern cloud-based technologies
• Prepare raw or unstructured datasets for usage in analytical models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and documentation
Requirements:
• Strong expertise in data engineering principles with proven ability to design and implement end-to-end data solutions
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development
• Expert-level SQL skills for complex data manipulation, analysis, and optimization
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL for relational database design and management
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud platform for building and deploying data infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to leverage GenAI tools and technologies to enhance data workflows and automation
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Snowflake data warehouse platform
• Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) for analytics engineering and transformation workflows
