Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Draft and review business documents, ensuring that they meet Amazon's writing standards.
- Develop a content strategy that aligns with client trust group program leaders.
- Lead content reviews with senior management and Client Trust group program leaders.
- Work with product, innovation, and business teams to define content for external partners.
- Create new client trust content, including blog posts, newsletters, stories, and press releases.
- Act as a speech specialist to senior leaders, driving the creation and delivery of compelling, chief-level show materials.
- Identify and build contacts with internal and external subject matter experts to support content creation.
Essential Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in communications or journalism.
- Experience in corporate communications, advertising, or external affairs roles.
- Knowledge of and comfort with AP style writing.
- Experience writing web or blog content, including using CMS tools.
- Intensive comprehension of writing for a specific audience and integrating guidelines for brand voice.
- Strong content creation and editing background.
Preferred Qualifications
- Four-year college education in English, technical writing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience working as part of a global team with distant partners.
- Experience working in an agile content development environment.
- Experience with a markup language like HTML or XML.
