Engrain builds map-based tech that’s redefining how real estate works. As a Salesforce QA & Systems Intern, you will help build the Quality Assurance function, performing manual testing, creating test case libraries, and collaborating with the operations team to ensure system integrity.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing on Salesforce configurations (Flows, validation rules, custom objects) to ensure they meet business requirements before they reach production
- Create our foundational library of test cases, documenting steps to reproduce errors, expected results, and actual results to ensure long-term system health
- Log and track defects in our project management tool (e.g., Jira/Asana), collaborating with the operations team to verify fixes and close loops
- Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides for new features, ensuring our technical documentation is accurate and easy to understand
- Utilize Excel/Google Sheets to track testing progress and identify trends regarding where our system breaks most often to drive future improvements
Skills
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Tech, Economics) or demonstrating a strong interest in technical systems and operations
- An active interest in the Salesforce ecosystem. Ideally, you have completed 50+ Badges on Trailhead or are working toward your Salesforce Associate or Administrator certification
- You understand the basics of how software is built and why testing (UAT, Regression) is critical to business success
- You enjoy logic puzzles and 'breaking' things. You don't just see that something failed; you want to know why and how
- You notice when data formatting is inconsistent or when a user flow doesn't make logical sense
- Available to be on-site ~60% of the time
Benefits
- Dog-friendly office
- On-site amenities include a professional fitness center, flexible & modern workspace, coffee bar, happy hour taps & team member lounge
