JOB OVERVIEW:
The Sales Operations Business Analyst will play a critical role in enabling strategic decision-making across the Commercial organization. This individual will own all data-driven analyses related to Total Addressable Market (TAM), account targeting, sales territory and deployment planning, and CRM (Salesforce) optimization. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance.
Conducts comprehensive TAM, SAM, and SOM analysis across product lines and regions.
Analyzes market trends, customer segments, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.
Partners with Product Management and Marketing to align sales strategy with market opportunities.
Develops and maintains robust customer segmentation models based on revenue potential, industry verticals, buying behavior, and geographic footprint.
Identifies whitespace opportunities and develops strategic account targeting frameworks.
Supports sales planning by prioritizing key accounts and defining ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
Collaborates with Sales Leadership to design and optimize sales territories and deployment models.
Analyzes rep productivity, coverage ratios, and alignment to maximize sales effectiveness and resource allocation.
Supports annual sales planning, quota setting, and headcount planning processes.
Serves as the business owner of Salesforce CRM functionality, reporting, and data integrity.
Works with IT and Sales to ensure CRM processes support pipeline management, forecasting, lead tracking, and activity monitoring.
Designs and maintains dashboards, reports, and KPIs that enable sales performance visibility and accountability.
Creates and maintains all sales reports, rankings, productivity dashboards, deal and pipeline reports, monthly sales and marketing productivity reporting packages, etc.
Creates standardized and ad hoc reporting to support business reviews, forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance analysis.
Presents insights and recommendations to executive leadership to support data-driven decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in business, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, or related roles; experience in capital equipment or medical devices preferred.
Any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Strong expertise in TAM analysis, segmentation, and sales planning models.
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and sales analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and business acumen.
Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and compelling manner to various stakeholders.
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
The physical demands of the role involve prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and engaging in repetitive hand movements for tasks like typing or writing. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 20 pounds may be required. This role may also include frequent use of standard office equipment such as printers, copiers, and telephones. Good hearing and manual dexterity are essential for safely performing tasks and ensuring product quality. To effectively complete the tasks in this position, the vision requirements needed are the ability to adjust focus and identify and distinguish colors.
The work environment for this role is primarily an office setting located near a manufacturing facility. While the office is climate-controlled and typically quiet, occasional exposure to noise, vibrations, or odors from the nearby production area may occur. Employees may need to enter the manufacturing floor occasionally, requiring adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
COMPENSATION RANGE: $68,816 - $76,912
Bonus offering is contingent on the company meeting financial goals.
