Sales Consultant - Multiple Ohio Territories

RDP Foodservice is a fast-growing, family-owned foodservice distributor committed to helping restaurateurs thrive through exceptional products, service, and partnerships. As we expand across Ohio, we are hiring driven Sales Consultants to grow new and existing customer relationships in Central Ohio, Southwest Ohio (Cincinnati & Dayton), Northeast Ohio (Cleveland & Akron/Canton), and Southeast Ohio. THE ROLE As a Sales Consultant, you will drive sales growth and profitability by managing your existing customer base and actively developing new business in your assigned territory. Essential Duties • Grow and maintain customer relationships by identifying opportunities to increase sales and satisfaction • Prospect and secure new business to expand territory revenue • Conduct regular in-person customer visits to assess needs and recommend solutions • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals • Achieve established sales and margin goals • Monitor accounts receivable and partner with the credit team as needed • Track sales activity and report on performance and market trends • Stay informed on pricing and competitive conditions • Collaborate with Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations to onboard new accounts and support customer success • Support company food shows and attend sales meetings, vendor, and industry events Who Thrives At Rdp Foodservice You'll thrive at RDP if you: • Build long-term relationships, not transactional sales • Take ownership of your territory and are motivated by growth and results • Value integrity, follow-through, and teamwork • Enjoy working in a family-owned, values-driven organization • Want to build a career with a company investing in people and expansion Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in foodservice or a related industry • Proven success in closing sales and growing accounts • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Ability to travel locally with a clean driving record Compensation & Benefits • Competitive compensation structure with strong earning potential • Car allowance • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (employee contribution) • Company-paid $25,000 life insurance policy • Paid time off • 401(k) plan with company match Must authorize and pass a 10 year background check
