About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Sales Engineer to join our Key Accounts team in AMER. As a key member of our sales team, you will provide technical expertise to customers and partners, helping to qualify and close complex opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Sales team to articulate the overall value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
- Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase, communicating Datadog's value and addressing any identified issues or concerns
- Deliver product and technical briefings/presentations to potential clients, showcasing Datadog's capabilities and value
- Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input, both wins and losses
- Proactively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog business/technical teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape
What We're Looking For:
- A passionate and knowledgeable individual with strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in programming/scripting with languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET
- A minimum of 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role
- Ability to travel up to 45% of the time, with occasional extended periods of travel
