As a Remote Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work on multiple projects, utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Job Summary:
We're looking for a talented and motivated individual to manage multiple simultaneous projects, develop project roadmaps, and implement Agile methodologies using Rally and Planview tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of multiple simultaneous fast-paced assigned projects with distributed teams
- Design and maintain project vision, project working standards, and agreements
- Develop project roadmap, release plan, resource allocation, funding request, communication plan, risks and issues management plan, test plan, and defect management plan
- Implement Agile methodology using Rally and Planview tools
- Facilitate project meetings and complete project tracking/analysis reports
- Track, update, and communicate project status in a proactive manner
- Mentor and coach Agile teams to ensure their adoption and successful use of Agile @ American practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of progressive broad-based information systems and business experience
- 3 years of experience managing and delivering mission-critical, high-availability large and small IT development projects using structured project management and system development methodologies
