The Role We are a busy dental group looking for two articulate and motivated schedulers to manage our incoming calls and fill our calendar. You do not need prior dental experience—we can teach you the terminology if you are not familiar. What we cannot teach is a great phone voice and the ability to close a booking.
## The #1 Requirement: Communication
Clear English is non-negotiable. You will be the first voice our patients hear. You must speak fluent, clear English with excellent pronunciation and grammar.
You must be able to sound professional, warm, and confident over the phone.
## Available Shifts
Shift A: Daytime (Mon-Fri)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Focus: Managing the daily schedule, answering office calls, and filling gaps.
Shift B: Evenings & Weekends
Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST (Weekdays) + Weekend Availability
Focus: Catching people who call after work and booking them for the upcoming week.
## What You Will Do
Answer incoming calls and questions from prospective patients.
Goal: Convert inquiries into scheduled appointments directly on our calendar.
Provide exceptional customer service to make patients feel comfortable.
Collect basic patient details to set up their profile.
## Requirements
Excellent Spoken English: Must be clearly understood over the phone without difficulty.
Sales/Service Mindset: You aren't just answering phones; you are helping people find a time slot that works for them.
Tech Capable: Must be able to learn our scheduling software quickly (training provided).
Reliable Internet: High-speed connection and a quiet background (no barking dogs or household noise).
Dental experience is a plus, but NOT required.
