HealthTrust is a national leader in seniors housing and healthcare real estate valuation services. The role involves conducting research, data collection, and market analysis to support the real estate appraisal process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone interviews for industry data, zoning, tax authority, and comparable communities; The right candidate MUST be comfortable on the phones. You will make 10-15 calls per day
- Use data sources like state licensing lists to measure senior housing supply in a market
- Enter all of the information you gather into our database and Excel valuation model (you will spend a lot of time with a spreadsheet open)
- Valuation and market analysis for all industry asset classes
Skills
- Must be self sufficient, organized, and quick learner
- Process-oriented: our appraisal process is a well-oiled machine and it is good to have someone that likes structure and understanding how one step leads to another
- Persistent and tenacious: you will be on the phone conducting research and some of the people you are calling may not be thrilled to speak with you so you cannot get easily shaken
- Communicative and team-player: the appraisal process starts with data collection and market analysis; the rest of the team depends on your work so it's important to be able to ask lots of questions and share progress and priorities
- Basic Microsoft Excel / Word skills required
