Principal Account Manager (Insurance & Medical Billing)
Employment Status: Full-Time; 100% Remote

Position Purpose
The Principal Account Manager is the high-level technical liaison between Physical Therapy practice owners and our billing operations. This strategic consulting role requires a deep medical billing background to interpret complex data and identify revenue cycle bottlenecks. You will communicate technical solutions to clients and internal divisions, ensuring consistent, accurate revenue through expert oversight and cutting-edge technology.
1- CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Onboarding & Implementation
• New Client Integration: Lead the onboarding process for new accounts, ensuring a seamless transition into our billing ecosystem.
• Information Gathering: Manage the "Kick-off" phase, ensuring clients provide all necessary credentials and data to go live.
• System Setup: Coordinate with the production team to verify that all EMR and billing parameters are correctly established for the new practice.
Client Strategy & Technical Liaison
• Expert Communication: Serve as the primary, high-level point of contact for clients; translate technical billing hurdles into actionable business insights.
• Strategic Issue Resolution: Identify trends in denials or revenue gaps. Coordinate with Production and Quality Control divisions to implement systemic solutions.
• Knowledge Management: Create and maintain technical FAQs and step-by-step guides to standardize processes for each client.
Revenue Cycle Oversight & Data Presentation
• Recurring Consultations: Lead weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly strategy calls. Document essential information and ensure support staff completes all subsequent "to-dos."
• Advanced Dashboard Management: Oversee the creation of monthly RCM dashboards. Ensure 100% data accuracy to provide total transparency into financial outcomes.
• Performance Analysis: Perform deep-dive data analysis at the customer’s request to address KPI concerns and improve cash flow.
Internal Training
• Staff Development: Support the training of new Operations members, identifying the essential technical information required for their development.
2- TECHNICAL REQUIREMENNTS
Candidates must have experience—or the high-level technical aptitude to be trained—within the following Physical Therapy EMR and billing platforms:
• Prompt, Empower, WebPT, Therabill, TheraOffice, Tebra, Stride, and EZclaim.
3- QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ Years of Medical Billing Expertise: A strong, verifiable background in medical billing and RCM is required to navigate complex client inquiries.
• 2+ years of Account Representative Experience: A strong, verifiable background in the responsibiites listed above
• Advanced Spreadsheet Proficiency: High-level experience in Excel or Google Sheets is mandatory for data analysis and dashboard management.
• Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to identify "preventable denials" and engineer solutions to mitigate them.
• Professional Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for managing client expectations.
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
