Assist in pharmacy functions, including receipt, storage, preparation, packaging, transfer, destruction and retention of clinical supplies. Follow current Celerion SOPs.

Essential Functions:

Perform daily pharmacy activities including but not limited to processing drug shipments, completing pharmacy product accountability records, ClinQuick entry, drug packaging, pharmacy compounding, final report writing, participation in client monitoring and close out visits while adhering to protocol requirements and appropriate SOP's and PG's.

Receive, inventory, and store investigational and auxiliary products

Prepare labels, supplies, and product packaging and compounding set ups

Maintain and track inventory and order supplies

Assist with dosings, as applicable

Participate in Pharmacy Staff On Call Rotation

Pharmacy eISF maintenance

Maintain pharmacy order and cleanliness

Equipment maintenance assistance

Knowledge/Skills/Education/Licenses:

High school diploma or GED; Post High School education preferred

Pharmacy Tech license preferred, or must obtain within 6 months of hire

Must be 18 years of age or older

Minimum 6 months of experience in clinical or medically related work environment

Successful completion of bi-annual media fill and fingertip testing (as applicable per site)

Medical terminology preferred

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work a flexible schedule, with rotating on-call weekends and holidays

Ability to travel to other sites if necessary

Knowledge of FDA/controlled substance laws preferred

General computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
