Safe Space: Develop a personalized, safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for students on caseload. ? Academic Achievement: Promote student motivation and engagement by planning activities and implementing lesson plans to each student?s abilities. ? Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor students' progress and adjust instruction and lesson plans as necessary. ? Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate closely with school teams, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development. ? Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessment and evaluation results. ? Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in Special Education. Requirements: ? Educational Qualifications: Active Maine Special Education Teaching License/Certification ? Experience Matters: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, with expertise in IEPs, tracking student progress, and assessing student?s skills and learning requirements. ? Passion for Helping Others: Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping students overcome behavioral and academic challenges. ? Tech Savvy: Be comfortable working remotely and have access to reliable internet and necessary computer equipment. ? Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
