Not looking for a “media buyer.”
Looking for someone who can rebuild a mess and make it perform.
We’ve run paid ads before. Some worked. Some didn’t. The account needs a ground-up rebuild from first principles, not incremental tinkering.
This is a PPC fundamentals role: structure, intent, economics, and discipline.
What you’ll be doing
Rebuild Google Ads (Search-first; PMax only if justified)
Kill bad structure, bloated keywords, lazy match types
- Re-map campaigns to actual buying intent
- Tighten targeting, negatives, bidding logic, and tracking
- Diagnose why things broke — not just “optimize”
- Set a clear testing framework (what we test, why, and when we kill it)
What you won’t be doing
- Chasing vanity metrics
- “Set and forget” automations
- Explaining bad results with vibes
What I’m looking for
- You understand PPC without tools doing the thinking for you
- You can explain why an account should be structured a certain way
- You’ve rebuilt underperforming accounts before — and can show it
- You’re comfortable saying “this won’t work” and backing it up
You think in economics, not just CTRs
Stack
- Google Ads (mandatory)
- GA4 / conversion tracking (must be clean)
- Landing page feedback (you don’t design, but you spot problems fast)
Comp
- $1,000/month
- Ongoing if performance + thinking are solid
- More scope later if you prove you’re a builder, not a babysitter
To apply
Send:
- A short note on how you approach rebuilding a broken PPC account
- One example where you removed complexity and performance improved
- What most businesses get wrong about PPC (one paragraph, no fluff)
