Polly English is currently hiring passionate and experienced educators for flexible, remote online teaching positions. Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking committed educators who meet the following criteria:
✔ English Fluency
- Native-level proficiency in spoken and written English
✔ Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
- A degree in Education or a related field is preferred but not required
✔ Valid Teaching Certification
- A state- or province-issued teaching license or certificate (K–12 level preferred)
- ESL certification such as TESOL/TEFL is a plus
✔ Teaching Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in public, private, or charter schools (domestic or international)
- Online teaching experience is a bonus but not required
✔ Technical Requirements
To ensure smooth online teaching, you must have:
- A Windows computer with Intel Core i5 8th generation or higher
- A stable high-speed internet connection
- Ability to teach using the Classpod platform (system compatibility test required)
Teaching Schedule & Compensation
⏰ Peak Hours (Beijing Time, GMT+8):
- Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Weekends: Flexible availability all day is highly encouraged
⌛ Minimum Commitment:
- 10 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling based on your availability
- Ideal for teachers looking to build a consistent schedule or gradually increase hours
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate: $14–$24 USD/hour
