Job Description
The Middle Atlassian Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Confluence, and related tools. This role involves configuring workflows, automating processes, integrating third-party applications, and ensuring system performance and security. The administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, streamline Agile and ITSM processes, and provide technical support and training to users. This position is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in Jira administration, scripting, and system integrations, looking to drive improvements and efficiency in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Assist in configuring and maintaining Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, and permissions.
- Support users with Jira-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing guidance.
- Manage user access, roles, and security settings.
- Assist in integrating Jira with other tools and applications.
- Participate in Jira instance upgrades and system improvements.
- Document Jira configurations, best practices, and training materials.
- Script Development.
- Working with Jira DB.
Job Requirements:- Strong knowledge of Jira/Confluence administration (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., Jira Query Language - JQL, Groovy, Python) is a plus.
- Experience with Bitbucket, or other Atlassian tools is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.
- English proficiency (spoken and written)
