About the position
Responsibilities
• Answer incoming calls and process medical claims as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for clients, healthcare provider offices, and patients.
• Act as a point of escalation for Medical Billers regarding policies and procedures.
• Train, coach, and mentor Medical Billers to enhance their skills.
• Lead by example to achieve team and departmental goals.
• Define and enforce best practices in claims processing.
• Provide reports and analysis to improve customer and healthcare facility experiences.
• Identify training opportunities and recommend solutions for improvement.
• Backup Supervisor activities when required.
• Complete ad-hoc project work as defined by Supervisor.
Requirements
• HIPAA certified
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Billing experience
• Medical Billing and Coding Certification
• Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PAAS Program Support operations
• Customer Service experience preferred
• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
