Markets Coordinator

The Markets Coordinator will assist farmers across the United States to connect with organic market opportunities and buyers, and work to establish local, regional, and national supply chains, with a particular focus on the East Coast. The Market Coordinator will report to the Markets Development Manager and Consulting Director and will work indirectly with the Communications & Marketing, Development, and Education departments at Rodale Institute

This position will work remotely from a home office, ideally near a major airport in the Northeast or Southeast of the United States. This position will require extensive regional travel with some national travel for site visits, events, and other meetings/conferences. 
 
This position’s time is allotted for Organic Market Development Technical Assistance and Supply/Demand Matching deliverables, supported by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP). TOPP is a program of the USDA’s Organic Transition Initiative and is administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP).

This position is funded through the end of June 2026 with no guarantee for refunding. Rodale Institute invests in employee training and retention, aiming for longer-term employment opportunities.
