Job Description:
We are selling a U-shaped toothbrush for kids.
A US-based company is repeatedly submitting Trademark/copyright complaints to Meta Ads, which leads to our advertising campaigns being blocked.
Key facts:
• They do not own an exclusive patent for the U-shaped toothbrush form
• Our product does not copy their branding, design, or marketing, except for the general U-shape
• Their complaints appear to be unfounded and anti-competitive
What we need:
Draft a professional legal email, sent from a law firm email address, requesting that this company withdraw their complaints to Meta. The email should also be duplicated and sent as a message on LinkedIn.
Tone requirements:
• Polite, calm, and professional
• Firm and confident
• Clearly states legal consequences if the complaints are not withdrawn (e.g. unfair competition, tortious interference, bad-faith IP claims)
Scope of work:
• Review the situation from a US IP / unfair competition perspective
• Draft one clear, well-structured legal email (no court filing needed)
• Email should be suitable to send on official law firm letterhead
Jurisdiction:
United States (US law experience required)
Ideal candidate:
• Licensed attorney or legal professional
• Experience with IP law, e-commerce, Meta Ads / online platforms
• Experience drafting cease-and-desist or dispute resolution letters
