The California Department of Developmental Services is seeking an Information Technology Associate to help implement next-generation IT solutions. The role involves supporting software requests, administrating software licenses, and ensuring IT solutions align with business strategies and goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of technical and analytical tasks such as documenting architecture, gathering requirements, researching new technologies and supporting project teams to ensure IT solutions align with business strategies and goals
- Helping to support software requests, software license administration and implementation of new IT systems
- Identifying opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency while acting as a communication bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Works closely with programs and IT Staff on various requests to assist with the administration of the Department’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) program and the implementation of State EA policies
Skills
- Candidates must be residents of the State of California at the time of appointment
- This position requires lawful authorization to work in the United States
- The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be numbered in the same order as the following areas, typed in 12-point Arial font, single spaced, and be no more than two page in length
