As an Immigration Specialist you'll prepare visa cases using our AI platform, work cross-functionally with engineering and sales teams, and help improve the product. You will handle high-volume work but with better tools - preparing 2-3 cases per day that used to take weeks.
You'll work normal 9-5 hours instead of the brutal 8am-1am schedules typical in immigration law. The company is mission-driven - you are literally helping create jobs for Americans and changing people's lives while working with cutting-edge AI tools that make your job easier.
You can work remote but need to be able to travel to San Francisco occasionally for team on sites.
The Role:
We're looking for an Immigration Specialist with 2-6 years of experience to join our fast-paced legal operations team. We are seeking a meticulous, solution-oriented individual with a strong background in legal writing, specifically for O-1 and EB-1 visas. This person will be crucial in helping us manage a high volume of immigration cases, leveraging our AI-powered platform to streamline the preparation process. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of helping talented foreign nationals build the future in the United States.
What You'll Do:
• Preparing high-volume, writing-intensive visa cases, primarily O-1 and EB-1, using our proprietary AI platform.
• Conducting detailed quality checks on all documents and evidence to ensure petitions are flawless before attorney review.
• Interfacing with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to identify platform issues and propose tech-driven solutions to improve efficiency.
• Managing the end-to-end petition process, from organizing client documents to ensuring the final 300-1500 page submission is perfectly assembled.
• Acting as a subject matter expert and copy editor, ensuring all legal writing meets the highest standards for quality and accuracy.
What We're Looking For:
• 2 - 6 years of experience in business immigration, with a focus on legal writing for O-1 and EB-1 visas.
• Experience preparing O-1 and/or EB-1 visas.
• Experience working at a startup or high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated legal writing and drafting experience.
• High attention to detail and ability to work quickly.
• Solution-oriented mindset; identifies and proposes process improvements.
• Based in California is preferred, but open to remote.
