About Nordstrom and the Role
Nordstrom, a leading American luxury department store chain, is seeking an experienced Flex Vendor Asset Acquisition Specialist to join their e-commerce digital department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for obtaining and managing image assets and product attributes for items available on Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com. About the Role
As a Flex Vendor Asset Acquisition Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for internal and external vendors, ensuring that all imagery and product attributes meet Nordstrom's high standards. You will be responsible for uploading imagery and product attributes into Nordstrom's systems, re-balancing priorities to meet production deadlines, and testing new solutions to increase efficiency while maintaining quality. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your ability to work independently and collaboratively, will be essential in this role.
A Day in the Life
As a Flex Vendor Asset Acquisition Specialist, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:
- Partnering with internal and external vendors to acquire assets and product attributes for Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com
- Ensuring all imagery and product attributes flowing through the Vendor Asset process meets Nordstrom standards
- Uploading Imagery and PA into Nordstrom Systems to be actioned by further downstream teams
- Continuously re-balancing and shifting priorities to meet production deadlines
- Building strong business partnerships and providing consistent and comprehensive status updates to key business partners: Buying Office, Site Merchandising, Photo Studio, and Marketing
- Testing of new solutions to increase efficiency while maintaining quality
- Maintaining consistency with data management through the production pipeline
You Own This If You Have
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Minimum of two years experience in a high-output, fast-paced e-commerce digital department
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on the process under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner cross-departmentally
- Visually precise, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven

Compensation and Perks
The pay range for this role is:
- California: $24.75 - $40.00 hourly
- Colorado: $21.75 - $24.50 hourly
- Connecticut: $21.25- $40.00 hourly
- District of Columbia: $24.75 - $40.00 hourly
- Hawaii: $21.25 - $34.50 hourly
- Illinois: $21.25 - $34.50 hourly
- Nevada: $21.25 - $34.50 hourly
- New York: $26.25 - $43.50 hourly
- Rhode Island: $21.25 - $34.50 hourly
- Washington: $24.75 - $40.00 hourly
