This is a remote position. Location: Remote Engagement Type: Project-based Assignment; B2B Contract (Outside IR35) Duration: 6 months with auto-renew Timezone: CET ± 3 hours Be part of our Global Engineering Network! One of our clients in the Communications sector is looking for IBM Certified Specialist – Storage Technical. Key Deliverables - Architect high-availability storage solutions tailored to application performance and capacity requirements. - Deploy and configure IBM storage arrays (FlashSystem, DS8000) and SAN switches (Brocade/Cisco). - Manage storage virtualization layers, including IBM SVC. - Analyze and optimize storage performance, identifying and resolving I/O bottlenecks. - Implement replication technologies (Metro Mirror, Global Mirror) and integration with backup software. - Provide Tier 3/4 support for storage-related incidents and performance issues. Requirements Ideal Profile:  - IBM Certified Specialist – Storage Technical (or equivalent current IBM storage certification).-Certification is a must have - Fluent in French-written and speaking - Extensive experience with IBM mid-range and enterprise storage products. - Deep understanding of Fibre Channel protocols, zoning, masking, and NAS protocols (NFS/SMB). - Experience integrating storage with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V. - Familiarity with scripting for automation (Python/PowerCLI). - Experience with IBM Spectrum Virtualize / Spectrum Protect. - Knowledge of hybrid cloud storage architectures.
