Solar Analyst
Contract Length: 10 Months

Our Client is advancing clean energy through innovative solar programs, and this Solar Analyst role plays a key part in optimizing system performance and reliability. The Solar Analyst will support operations, maintenance, and data-driven improvements for pole-mounted solar infrastructure across the service territory.
Solar Analyst Responsibilities
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair solar components (SEMs, Company) using specialized test stations
• Monitor Solar Analyst system performance using analytics tools and dashboards
• Create and manage work orders for field crews; verify completed work
• Generate performance reports for leadership review
• Conduct field visits to audit and troubleshoot solar equipment
• Use platforms like AWS PASS, MEGA, Google Maps, and Excel for tracking and analysis
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory, and third-party vendor activities
• Support system maintenance, test bench operations, and hardware repairs
• Collaborate with vendors and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Investigate data gaps and resolve system anomalies
• Assist with invoice verification and operational documentation
Solar Analyst Qualifications
Required:
• Valid driver's license
• Bachelor's degree OR 5 years of experience with solar systems and communication technologies (Zigbee, Wi-Fi, cellular)
• Experience with electrical repair and diagnostic test equipment
• Working knowledge of Linux, AWS, and Windows systems
Preferred:
• Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management abilities
