As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing national and government accounts, driving sales growth, and developing strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage National and Government accounts, ensuring strong relationships and driving sales growth
• Meet and exceed sales targets, developing and executing strategies to achieve business objectives
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams
• Evaluate school bus specifications and provide expert guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
• Take on special projects and sales functions as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
• Provide guidance on goals and expectations to internal teams, ensuring alignment and clarity around sales objectives
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders, driving loyalty and retention
• Work cross-functionally to deploy processes and tools, ensuring seamless execution and optimal sales performance
• Collaborate with operations to ensure orders are built correctly and on-time, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Provide high-level support to an assigned executive, demonstrating expertise and strategic thinking
• Support Marketing with trade shows and events, representing the company and driving business growth
• Positively represent the company at events, demonstrating a deep understanding of our brand and values
• Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to sales and customer management

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A proven track record of sales success, meeting or exceeding targets in a previous sales role
• Previous experience as a sales manager or account manager, demonstrating a deep understanding of sales principles and practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A highly organized and self-motivated individual, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• The ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced sales environment
• A demonstrated ability to coordinate matrixed resources and drive measurable results, with a strong understanding of sales operations and processes
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and GSuite, with the ability to learn company-specific systems and tools
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales
• Previous experience working with government or national accounts, demonstrating a deep understanding of the sales landscape and customer needs
