About Us
We own and operate a luxury glamping property in Central Texas near Waco. Our goal is direct bookings (not just traffic), and we are transitioning away from a high-cost agency that delivered little ROI.
We are looking for an independent Google Ads specialist with proven hospitality experience who can own strategy, execution, and optimization.
What We’re Looking For (Please Read Carefully)
This role is for a hands-on Google Ads expert, not an agency and not a general marketer.
You are a great fit if you:
Specialize in Google Search & Google Maps ads
Have experience with hospitality, travel, short-term rentals, glamping, cabins, hotels, or RV parks
Understand how to drive direct bookings, not just clicks
Can confidently reduce wasted spend and improve ROAS quickly
Prefer transparent reporting and clear communication
Agencies or white-label teams will not be considered.
Responsibilities
Audit existing Google Ads account and identify immediate waste
Build and optimize Search + Maps campaigns
Keyword research focused on booking-intent searches
Implement and manage negative keyword strategy
Conversion tracking setup (bookings, calls, key actions)
Landing page feedback to improve conversion rate
Weekly optimization and performance monitoring
Clear, simple monthly reporting focused on bookings and cost per booking
Required Experience
3+ years managing Google Ads (Search-focused)
Demonstrated experience in hospitality or travel
Strong understanding of:
Keyword intent
Negative keyword strategy
Conversion tracking (GA4, GTM, or equivalent)
Local and regional targeting
Comfortable working with smaller, high-intent budgets

Reduced wasted spend within the first 14 days
Improved quality of search terms and traffic
Clear visibility into what is driving bookings
A scalable structure that can grow seasonally

Budget range: $750 – $1,500/month (management only; ad spend separate)
