Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to complex business problems in supply chain management, logistics, and retail operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions that drive business success
- Use operations research techniques, such as linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and metaheuristics, to optimize business processes and improve efficiency
- Develop and maintain large-scale data models and algorithms to analyze complex data sets and drive business insights
- Communicate complex technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and operations research, and apply this knowledge to drive business innovation
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with operations research techniques, such as linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and metaheuristics
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, and experience with data science libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Experience with data querying and analysis using SQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain management, logistics, or retail operations
- Proven ability to develop and implement large-scale data models and algorithms
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as GCP or Azure
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, such as clustering, SVM, random forests, and support vector machines
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
