Job Summary
The Senior Learning Data Analyst will play a critical role in investing in the future of blithequark's people by developing dashboards, presentations, analytics, and business insights for blithequark University, our internal training department. This position requires a self-starter who is data-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment to convert business needs into actionable data. The successful candidate will utilize advanced tools and techniques to integrate data from various sources, providing insights for key stakeholders and measuring the impact and effectiveness of our training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply expertise and customer needs analysis to create the right solution to meet the need
- Analyze and mitigate risks associated with equipment and projects
- Utilize advanced expertise in data cleaning techniques and tools, such as Alteryx, data visualization tools like Tableau, and other data analytics tools, to create insights that support data and visualization requests
- Apply advanced expertise in SQL, Python, or other reporting languages or tools to create and maintain advanced solutions for reporting training data
- Support escalated and complex data troubleshooting for business customers
- Gather and interpret requirements to convert business needs into actionable data and present findings
- Partner with senior leaders to gain insights and measurements to convert business needs into actionable data presentation requirements
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or processes to problems
- Understand and estimate the effort and cost of a solution
- Work with the Business Intelligence Analyst to solve problems and share knowledge of tools and techniques
- Perform other job duties as directed by the employee's leaders
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Advanced-level experience with extensive expertise in acquiring data using various tools, such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, Qlikm, Attunity, or other comparable toolsets
- Visualization and presentation experience
- Ability to apply advanced software to quickly understand and accurately define complex problems, systematically analyze and weigh options, and recommend solutions
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and manage time effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet departmental goals and objectives
- Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision to perform assignments and projects
- Understanding of company policies and expectations of blithequark culture
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
- Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Visual Basic)
- Working experience in Air Operations training and Advance Qualification Program (AQP)
