About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Walgreens At Home team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will play a critical role in driving business insights and decision-making across our organization. This is a part-time remote position, offering a competitive salary of $32/hour and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the delivery of Walgreens Health data and insights drives and projects, upholding long-term and ad-hoc data ETL and data warehousing exercises to meet Walgreens Health reporting and analysis expectations.
- Plan, design, and deliver layered data bases and data pipelines to support reporting and analysis projects.
- Develop data organizing and pre-handling norms for populating consistent and accurate data models attached to report-specific working tables for both project business intelligence and pre-defined reporting arrangements.
- Apply data extraction, transformation, and loading best practices to integrate large data sets from various internal Walgreens production system sources and external records.
- Perform data profiling and data analysis across internal production systems, manually maintained data, and standard healthcare data collections (e.g., patient qualification, clinical cases, pharmacy claims, HEDIS ECDS records).
- Develop internal tools for automation of all development-related activities (data handling, QA, data approval, etc.).
Essential Capabilities
- Verifiable, hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL-based ETL/ELT scripts.
- Experience designing and delivering reasonably isolated data conditions using ETL/ELT services that include but are not limited to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Experience providing technical leadership and presenting device rationalist semantic data layer upgrades connected with BI technology stage like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical teams, internal partners, clients, and vendor partners.
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- No less than 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team management.
- Able to travel up to/no less than 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Capabilities
- Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, and clinical research concepts.
