Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

- Communicating directly with elderly members, addressing their concerns about denied medications, predominantly injectables administered at a doctor's office
- Making outbound calls per shift to resolve issues and ensure patient satisfaction
- Working with Medicare and Medicaid patients, focusing primarily on Medicare cases
- Utilizing computer proficiency to manage case information and communicate with patients and pharmacists
- Demonstrating strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address patient concerns and resolve issues
- Exhibiting problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient processing of Prior Authorizations
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment
- Prior authorization experience, with a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Insurance verification experience, with the ability to navigate complex insurance claims
- Customer service skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction and empathy
- Computer proficiency, with experience using electronic health records and other software applications
- Ability to work remotely and independently, with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, pharmacists, and other stakeholders

- National certification as a Pharmacy Technician, with registration in Indiana, Alabama, Michigan, South Carolina, or North Carolina
