Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain utility accounts with precision and attention to detail
- Verify account eligibility and accessibility to ensure seamless customer experience
- Prepare, distribute, and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Prepare files for mass customer communications, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Assist with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house
- Scan or retain documents, maintaining organized and secure records
- Perform monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to ensure data integrity
- Enter data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases to support business insights
- Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)
- Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
- Strong computer skills, typing, and accuracy, with the ability to pass skills testing
- 10-key skills, with the ability to pass skills testing
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- An Associate's degree in Business Administration, Data Entry, or related fields
- Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
- Advanced computer skills, with experience in data entry software and systems
