About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Remote Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our members receive exceptional service and support. You'll be the primary point of contact for members, scheduling in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners, and addressing their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Call members to schedule in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners, ensuring accurate appointment scheduling and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Respond to inbound calls from members, addressing their inquiries and providing timely and effective solutions.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create, edit, and send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
- Adhere to blithequark's Telecommuter Policy and maintain confidentiality, following HIPAA guidelines to ensure the security and privacy of member information.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1 year of work experience, preferably in a customer service or healthcare-related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm local time, with flexibility to work occasional overtime.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate multiple screens while typing and talking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly with Medicaid or Medicare programs.
- Background in a customer retention-focused role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with auto-dialer systems and experience working in a metric-driven environment.
Telecommuting Requirements
- Reside within the EST or CST time zone.
- Dedicated work area that is separate from other living areas, providing information privacy and security.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality and security of company-sensitive documents.
- Access to a high-speed internet connection, either through an existing service or a blithequark-approved provider.
- Ability to connect directly to the internet via a hard-wired connection (either directly to a modem or router).
