Job Summary
As a Remote Customer Service Agent, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. You'll interact with customers across the country, resolving support issues, selling new products and services, and ensuring best-in-class customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks and ensure seamless customer interactions
- Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade products and services
- Explain and position products and processes with customers, highlighting key features and benefits
- Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction to the managerial team, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction
- Ensure first-call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling, minimizing the need for follow-up calls
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute), with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of Windows operating system, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and technology
- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues, with a focus on resolving problems efficiently and effectively
- An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience, either in a call center or other customer-facing environment
- Experience with sales and upselling, with a proven track record of success
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
