Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, resolving customer issues, and promoting our products and services. This is a full-time remote opportunity, offering a competitive hourly rate of $25. Key Responsibilities
- Model and convey a positive and great client experience, ensuring that customers receive considerate, fair, and professional service
- Register sales on assigned sales register, provide clients with efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately
- Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions
- Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with items and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience
- Model and offer customer support best practices with all colleagues, including relational habits and arenaflex service qualities
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy
- Report remedy errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to organization policies and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
- Handle calls that don't require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to doctors, and process manual cases for third-party program prescription services
- Assist and support the Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications
- Maintain knowledge of store systems and store equipment, and ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
- Strong numerical abilities, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
- Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control
- PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
- At least six months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex
