**The Role of a Patient Care Advocate**
As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll play a critical role in helping patients navigate their pharmacy benefits and addressing their concerns with empathy and expertise. You'll be responsible for:
* Responding to phone inquiries from patients and addressing their questions and concerns with care and attention to detail
* Helping patients understand their pharmacy benefits and providing guidance on how to access the care they need
* Documenting patient interactions in real-time to ensure accurate and timely communication
* Identifying and addressing patient concerns, and escalating issues as necessary
* Collaborating with our team to provide comprehensive support to patients and ensure their needs are met
**Key Responsibilities**
* Help patients understand their pharmacy benefits and provide guidance on how to access the care they need
* Respond to phone inquiries from patients and address their questions and concerns with care and attention to detail
* Document patient interactions in real-time to ensure accurate and timely communication
* Identify and address patient concerns, and escalate issues as necessary
* Collaborate with our team to provide comprehensive support to patients and ensure their needs are met
* Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices to provide the highest level of care to patients
**What We're Looking For**
* High School Diploma or GED required
* College degree or Junior College degree with a healthcare focus preferred
* 1 year of relevant customer care experience
* Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge
* Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Flexibility to work specified shifts and extended hours as necessary
