In this full-time remote position, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of forecasting algorithms, automating manual processes, and analyzing large datasets to generate key insights and drive business decisions. You will work closely with our global AI teams, scientists, engineers, and business partners to identify new opportunities and lead the implementation of large-scale machine learning models and algorithmic solutions. Your expertise in data exploration, statistical modeling, and data visualization will be essential in presenting clear and accurate root-cause analysis to stakeholders and leadership.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least a Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field, and at least seven (7) years of experience as a data or machine learning scientist. Alternatively, a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field, and at least four (4) years of experience as a data or machine learning scientist will also be considered.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, SAS, and Java. You must also have experience with data mining, machine learning, and text mining techniques, as well as strong mathematical and statistical skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also essential, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
