Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering friendly customer service, helping customers shop our store, and finding what they need. You will also be responsible for completing truck unloading and merchandise duties, maintaining store recovery standards, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience for all customers. As an Early Morning and Overnight Stocking Associate, you will work closely with our store team to achieve our brand promises and drive business results. Your attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills will be essential in this role, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop our store and find what they need, providing a personalized and engaging experience that exceeds their expectations
- Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties, including maintaining store recovery standards, to ensure a well-merchandised and organized store environment
- Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and execute cash handling to standards, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions
- Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments, promoting our loyalty programs and driving sales growth
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), to provide a seamless and integrated customer experience
- Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes and perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, ensuring that our store is always fully stocked and merchandised to the highest standards
- Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements, maintaining a safe and secure working environment
- Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production and perform other duties as assigned, developing your skills and expertise in multiple areas of the business
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time and move throughout the store, with the physical stamina to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
