- Group Stage QMO (Quality Management Office): Our QMO team is responsible for ensuring the quality of applications used by our airline stewards and pilots. This team works closely with Case teams (Scrum Masters, Engineers, Product Owners) to test applications and ensure they meet our high standards.
- Client and Business: Our Client and Business team is focused on creating new, revenue-generating products for Southwest Airlines beyond its core air product. This team works on fast-paced and highly competitive projects that require innovative thinking and collaboration.
- Framework and Services: Our Framework and Services team is responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that support our business operations.
Job Summary
As a Data Entry Specialist at Southwest Airlines, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the success of our Innovation Office. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Working with business clients to conduct requirements analysis and develop quality technical solutions
- Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business processes, and departmental standards
- Managing project timelines, coding, testing, and execution to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
- Acting as a liaison between business and Innovation teams to ensure effective communication
- Participating in system and acceptance testing
Responsibilities and Duties
The responsibilities and duties of the Data Entry Specialist may include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with business clients to gather requirements and develop technical solutions
- Analyzing business processes and identifying areas for improvement
- Designing and implementing technical solutions to meet business needs
- Testing and validating solutions to ensure quality and functionality
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including business clients, engineers, and project managers
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Business Analysis Skills: Basic knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of technical environments and agile methodologies is required.
