Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Microsoft Cloud Application Development and Cybersecurity Threat Analysis team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in helping us safeguard our clients' data and protect them from emerging cyber threats. Key Responsibilities
- Create measurable, machine learning, and artificial intelligence-based security models for online protection and intrusion detection that are scalable and meet business objectives.
- Understand issues confronting projects and use data science to uncover key elements that can impact results on specific products.
- Develop project plans to determine critical steps required for completion, evaluate current situation for resources, opportunities, possibilities, requirements, assumptions, and constraints.
- Mentor less experienced engineers in norms and best practices.
- Secure and prepare datasets for the purpose of demonstration and ensure data integrity and protection.
- Use data science on AI solutions (e.g., clustering, regression, grouping, estimating, NLP, image recognition, etc.) and individual algorithms (e.g., linear and logistic regression, k-means, gradient boosting, autoregressive integrated moving average [ARIMA], recurrent neural networks [RNN], long short-term memory [LSTM] networks) to identify the best approach to complete objectives.
- Develop and implement effective models that run at scale through collaboration with data engineering teams.
- Work with security threat experts to understand cyberattack strategies and build security models and make them available to our team.
- Grasp the connection between chosen models and business goals, ensure clear linkage between chosen models and desired business goals, evaluate how much models meet business goals, and define and plan feedback and assessment strategies.
- Present results and findings to senior client partners.
- Use business data and technical expertise to provide feedback to the engineering team to identify potential future business opportunities.
- Produce project plans and survey what is going on for assets, opportunities, possibilities, requirements, assumptions, and constraints.
- Write efficient, readable, and extensible code from scratch that spans multiple features/ solutions.
- Develop and implement proficient-grade records for data transfer and arrangement of predictive analytical models.
- Team up with end-client and Microsoft internal cross-functional partners to understand business needs.
- Form a guide of project movement that prompts quantifiable improvement in business execution measurements over the long haul.
- Embodies and implements group principles connected with bias, security, and morals.
Essential Qualifications
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data science (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical methods, and presenting results).
- 2+ years of programming experience in Python or Scala.
