Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Rep, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving support tickets in a timely and professional manner. This is a remote opportunity with flexible scheduling, offering the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities and aging adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound and outbound call inquiries, providing professional, friendly, and timely support to customers.
- Initiate outbound calls to follow up with previous contacts and respond to inquiries.
- Perform support ticket transaction resolution tasks and administrative functions, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation.
- Create and maintain excellent documentation of all calls, questions, complaints, and mailed inquiries.
- Maintain adequate records and documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
- Route mail, email, and other administrative support duties as assigned.
- Develop an excellent working knowledge of operating platforms required to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Learn program rules of assigned projects to ensure the ability to respond to customer service inquiries.
Essential Qualifications
Education
A high school degree or equivalent is required.
Experience
6 months of call center experience or 1 year of customer service experience is preferred. Bilingual Spanish skills are required.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to work with persons with disabilities.
- Ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
