About the Role
As a Full Stack Application Engineer at Workwarp, you'll be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively to design, develop, and deploy innovative technology solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency for Starbucks. You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that span multiple domains, including Supply Chain and Financial Systems, and contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Crafting Exceptional User Experiences: Collaborate with our UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that delight Starbucks customers and partners.
- Front-end Development: Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring seamless interactions across various devices and platforms.
- Server-side Development: Design and develop server-side code and APIs using programming languages like Python, Ruby, or Node.js, ensuring robust and scalable backend systems.
- Data Management: Design and maintain databases, perform database queries for data retrieval and manipulation, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Integration and Automation: Build and support integrations with internal systems and external providers to automate tedious tasks, reduce turn-around time between systems, and decline process duration across a wide range of business processes.
- Ensuring Performance, Security, and Compliance: Contribute to regular platform updates, adhere to development guidelines and best practices, and ensure compliance with audit, data security, and security requirements.
- Supporting Colleagues and Customers: Provide excellent support for all users of the Supply Chain and Financial platforms, helping to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a UX/UI Designer or Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and accomplishments.
- Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (Python, Ruby, Node.js, etc.).
- Experience working in a full-stack team environment, with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- A passion for problem-solving and building innovative technology solutions.
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and tackle new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and experience can give you a competitive edge:
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of other skill areas that demonstrate an aptitude for working with data, logic, syntax, and other Business Off-The-Shelf (BOTS) applications.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
