Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Digital Campaign Manager to join our Milan-based Italian advertising sales and operations team. As a crucial member of our Client Services group, you will lead a Digital Campaigns Client Service manager in planning and executing the operational components of advertising campaigns across our digital properties, including video advertising, websites, apps, and social platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering effective media designs that maximize revenue, ensuring seamless campaign execution, and fostering strong relationships with our clients and partners. Key Responsibilities - Lead a Digital Campaigns Client Service manager in supporting assigned sales representatives and related clients through all stages of the campaign lifecycle, from planning to invoicing - Deliver effective media designs that maximize revenue and drive functional productivity - Allocate team responsibilities while contributing to and assisting in campaign management - Perform all tasks related to campaign management, including stock gauging, media plan creation, order entry, negotiation, optimization, reporting, and invoicing - Ensure the Account Manager is fully trained on campaign execution and able to address all related questions - Act as the primary point of contact for any escalations on complex issues or requests regarding inventory, ad products, or campaigns - Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting in revenue tracking - Investigate and resolve ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues, liaising with global Ad Platforms support - Test potential ad tech vendor integrations and provide feedback on contract negotiations - Ideate, implement, review, and optimize operational processes that drive quality and efficiency - Analyze usage and performance of digital inventory to develop strategies and products that maximize revenue yield - Manage, mentor, and develop talent, including training future hires - Create and update internal documentation to clarify processes and best practices - Collaborate with regional teams and act as a local center of excellence for other offices across EMEA - Maintain expertise in arenaflex's ad tech stack and ecosystem, and stay up-to-date with industry developments Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: - A graduate degree or equivalent experience - 3+ years of overall experience in the advertising industry, either publisher/agency side or in ad tech - Team management experience - Expertise in defining and optimizing processes - Proven ability in activating campaigns, creating accurate and relevant insights, and optimizing performance - Solid understanding of programmatic advertising, technologies that power it, and key vendors in the space - Familiarity with general data security and privacy requirements related to digital advertising - Ability to represent the company in external meetings and events - Media or entertainment brand experience is desirable, as is knowledge of the processes and procedures of a global corporation - Essential knowledge of ad management systems (e.g., Google Ad Manager), ad server systems (e.g., DV360), and management of Creative Labels and Tracking to support and lead the assigned team - Knowledge of Massive activation for digital campaigns and related requirements Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: - A strong understanding of the digital media landscape, with specific expertise in video, programmatic, and CTV advertising - Experience in campaign planning and execution for a wide range of clients - Ability to balance 'in-the-weeds' tasks with a higher level of strategic thinking - Proven track record of surpassing client expectations and driving growth and efficiency - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess, evaluate, and plan based on results Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will possess: - Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges and provide long-term solutions - Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to simultaneously focus on and balance multiple tasks - Strong analytical and scientific skills, with the ability to assess, evaluate, and plan based on results - Ability to step back and look at situations from a macro level, tackling the immediate challenge and providing long-term solutions - Natural team leader and mentor, able to foster a positive, inclusive culture - Motivated to lead by example and hold others accountable for high standards - Open to working independently or collaboratively with reports, peers, and senior leaders - Revenue-focused, but not at the expense of our people - Always centered on our guests and prioritizing the client experience - Certain communicator with excellent presentation skills, able to speak on behalf of the team internally and externally - Eager to work in a global organization with partners across the world - Ability to navigate the digital advertising industry and maintain relationships with publishers, broadcasters, agencies, advertisers, and tech vendors - Top-to-bottom understanding of digital media and the advertising business, especially video and within EMEA - IT savvy across core business applications and remote working tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Zoom) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
