Job Overview
This role is a unique opportunity for a skilled Data Analyst to work with our Studio Research & Analytics team, supporting the blithequark+ Product, Marketing, and Content Curation, as well as In-Home Marketing & Distribution agencies. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and synthesizing data to provide actionable insights that drive key decision-making. Your expertise will help us better understand our consumer experience, identify areas for improvement, and optimize our strategies to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including data collection, training, extraction, and analysis to build summaries, tables, and report sections.
- Combine disparate data sets using SQL to support the daily operations of the blithequark+ consumer experience monitoring program.
- Partner with various teams to conduct research, communicate project goals, business needs, and timelines to prioritize, innovate, and optimize our datasets.
- Build and maintain relationships with research counterparts within the team and across different divisions of the company, as well as external vendors.
- Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad-hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various teams within the product marketing, engagement, and product strategy of blithequark+ and the blithequark Streaming Bundle.
- Manage assigned projects, implement quality assurance processes, and report obligations and status to supervisors to ensure completion within established timeframes.
- Collaborate with the team and analytics agencies within Snowflake & Databricks to drive strategic actionability and key decision-making.
- Maintain up-to-date verbal and written knowledge of data points and requirements, responding to critical data requests from internal clients.
- Support the presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions.
- Stay at the forefront of SVOD & In-Home business trends amidst a continuously evolving landscape.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or a Master's Degree with 1 year of applicable work experience.
- Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and integrate disparate data sources.
- Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills, with the ability to extract data and integrate it with other data sources to create a rich, whole picture for the business.
- Outstanding communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work effectively in an environment of tight timeframes and constant change.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable:
- Proficiency in data processing tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight).
- Experience with survey tools (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, including Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
- Familiarity with R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages.
- Advanced degree in Market Research or Statistics.
- Quantitative research background, either supplier-side or client-side.
- Experience with reading survey data to extract actionable insights.
- Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
