**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service. This role requires independent and self-directed performance while working collaboratively with a greater team. Your primary focus will be on communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients
* Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient
* Perform numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies
* Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information
* Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education
* Routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist
* Provide empathetic and personalized customer service, resolving patients' questions on the first call
**Essential Qualifications**
* 1 year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone
* 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application
* Must reside in the state of Nevada
* Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting
* Knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
