You'll be the primary point of contact for patients, handling new and reordered medication requests, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders. Your role will involve: * Coordinating and handling new and reordered medication requests, including verifying and updating patient information * Assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reordered medications into our pharmacy data system * Collecting and processing copay sums, obtaining approvals, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues * Collaborating with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely and accurate processing of specialty medications * Providing empathetic and genuine care to patients and clients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional phone support to patients receiving specialty medication * Coordinate and handle new and reordered medication requests, including verifying and updating patient information * Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reordered medications into our pharmacy data system * Collect and process copay sums, obtain approvals, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues * Collaborate with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely and accurate processing of specialty medications * Provide empathetic and genuine care to patients and clients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner **Essential Qualifications** * One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness **Preferred Qualifications** * Six months of experience handling a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone * Medical experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology **Training and Development** * High school diploma or equivalent required * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and certification programs **Work Environment and Culture** * arenaflex offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with time in our office * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of bright and motivated individuals * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and certification programs * Competitive compensation package, including salary and benefits **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive salary range: $25-$35/hour * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) retirement plan with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and certification programs **Ready for an Easy Start?** This is a low-stress role with great rewards.
